About AMU

The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is a brain child, vision and life-long dream of the great educationist, reformer and philanthropist named Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. The Institution got the status of a University in 1920. AMU is ranked among top ten Indian Universities in the 2021 NIRF India Rankings. As of now, the University maintains several Colleges, Institutes, Centers, and Schools on its vast campus.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, a part of the Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, is one of the iconic colleges of the Aligarh Muslim University. The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest Engineering Departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at AMU, Aligarh. It is one of the biggest departments in the University. All the undergraduate and graduate programs of the department are accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The city of Aligarh is well connected by train and road from New Delhi.

Objective

Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics are vital areas of Mechanical Engineering which play a crucial role in addressing many aspects of engineering challenges. In addition to the classical applications, the area of heat transfer and fluid dynamics has gained much attraction in the modern-day technology solutions for novel applications in nano-technology, thermal management of electronics packaging, bio-medical applications, energy systems and turbulent flow modeling.

The purpose of the International Conference on Advances in Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics AHTFD-22 is to bring together people from academia and industry from around the globe to present and discuss challenges, recent advancements, and research in the areas of heat transfer and fluid dynamics. This conference will also serve as a platform for establishing an environment that fosters the exchange of ideas and information. Young and budding engineers and scholars will have a chance to gain exposure to latest developments in the areas of heat transfer and fluid dynamics. The keynote presentation and invited talks will be delivered by speakers from leading Indian and International academic and industrial establishments with extensive expertise in the focus areas.

Call for Papers

Prospective faculty members, researchers, students, and participants from industry are invited to submit their original research work in Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics to the conference (AHTFD-22). The paper should be on the prescribed template including abstract of maximum 250 words and 5 keywords. Authors are requested to limit the similarity index to 20%. The received manuscripts will be reviewed by technical committee. All papers accepted for the conference will be provided to the participants in electronic format during the conference.
Select papers from the conference will be published by Springer as a proceedings book volume. Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted papers and only papers that pass these checks will be published. Springer Nature does not charge any money for publication of Non-Open Access content. Abstracts/extended abstracts and short papers (less than 4 pages) are not considered for publication. At least one author must register for a paper to be included in the conference proceedings.

Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh is situated in the middle of Doab, the land between the Ganga and Yamuna rivers, at a distance of 130 km Southeast of Delhi on the Delhi-Howrah rail route and the Grand Trunk Road. The latitude is 27° 54' N and longitude is 78° 05' E. The climate is hot and dry in summer and cold and dry in winter with an intervening rainy season. The University campus is 2 km away from the Aligarh Railway Station.
